DYNAMIC LOAD TESTING (DLT)

Piles are tested by the impact of a weight applied to the workload to be tested, which produces the propagation of a wave whose signals of acceleration and deformations are captured by sensors (strain gauges), stored by the equipment and accumulated for processing first with CASE software, and subsequently with CAPWAP, another software that manages soil and pile modeling and simulates the behavior of both during the impact. Strength and velocity curves are obtained very similarly to those measured on actual works test. This is the starting point to draw a load-settlement diagram similar to that of static tests to infer pile load capacity.
